H2/N2 with CO2 Gas Mixer
This gas mixing system allows a cylinder of 10% hydrogen / 90 % nitrogen to be mixed with a neat cylinder of CO₂ into a 10:10:80 anaerobic gas mix, to reduce running costs of anaerobic workstations.
The system has two gas inputs for pre mixed 10% hydrogen / 90 % nitrogen along with a cylinder of CO₂. The single output provides the two gasses, mixed into the typical ratio of 10% hydrogen, 10% CO₂ and 80% nitrogen.
Running costs:
The table below compares the running costs of using a 10% Hydrogen/90% Nitrogen gas mixture with added CO₂ versus the standard 10:10:80 anaerobic gas mixture. To clarify, both methods use the same total volume of gas. However, for the mixed gas approach, you would need nine cylinders of 10% Hydrogen/90% Nitrogen for every one cylinder of CO₂.
