Anaerobic Jars
For simple culture of anaerobic and microaerophillic organisms, we have both stainless steel jars and the transparent, stackable Whitley IncuBox, which are all robust and easy to use. The traditional stainless steel jars have a positively located lid fitted with the unique Whitley Schrader® Valve System and carrier clips for Low Temperature Catalyst Sachets.
Whitley Anaerobic Jars and the Whitley IncuBox can be used with either gas generating envelopes or cylinders of anaerobic gas mixture and will vent automatically if excess pressure is applied.
All our jars are ideal for use with the Whitley Jar Gassing System.
Two stainless steel versions are available:
- a 9 Plate Jar with a 3 litre capacity
- a 48 Plate Jar with a 10 litre capacity
The Whitley IncuBox is a transparent, stackable 'jar' that accommodates 12-14 x 90mm Petri dishes or 5 x standard multi-well plates.
