FecalSwab™

FecalSwab™ is a liquid-based specimen collection and transport device designed for the collection and transport of stool and rectal specimens for enteric pathogen testing.

Combining FLOQSwab® technology with 2ml of modified Cary-Blair medium, FecalSwab™ enables efficient specimen collection and sample release while helping maintain microorganism viability during transport.

The liquid format provides a convenient alternative to traditional stool containers, allowing specimens to be easily collected, transported and processed in a standardised format. FecalSwab™ supports a range of testing applications, including manual or automated bacterial culture (including WASP®), molecular-based assays, microbiome analysis and antigen testing.
