SRK®

SRK® (Swab Rinse Kits) is a range of ready-to-use environmental sampling devices designed for the collection, transport and detection of microbial contamination from surfaces and equipment. The range supports routine environmental monitoring across food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare and clean room environments.

SRK® devices combine a sampling device with a rinse solution or broth, enabling efficient sampling of irregular, uneven and difficult-to-access surfaces where conventional contact plates may not be suitable. The range is available with different swab types, media and volumes to support a variety of environmental sampling requirements.

SRK® supports qualitative and quantitative microbiological testing, including direct streaking and membrane filtration. The SRK® neutralising solution helps neutralise residual sanitising agents present on surfaces at the time of collection, supporting effective microbial recovery. SRK® kits are designed to comply with ISO 18593:2018, ISO 18593:2004, ISO 17604:2003 and EU Directive 2001/471/EC.
