SRK® is manufactured by Copan and supplied with a Regular FLOQSwab® in a tube containing 1ml of SRK® neutralising pre-moistening medium in a sponge, together with a separate tube containing 10ml of Buffered Peptone Water 1% (BPW).

Buffered Peptone Water 1% is a non-selective enrichment broth used for the recovery and enrichment of Enterobacteriaceae and Salmonella spp. Following incubation at 35°C for 24 hours, the enriched sample can be transferred onto an appropriate selective agar for further microbiological testing.

Suggested surfaces include those found in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.
