Watch 'Important Considerations When Modelling Hypoxia in Cancer Biology' from Diane Lefley
Diane Lefley:
Diane Lefley is a final-year PhD student at the University of Sheffield, where she works within the Laboratory for Cancer Metastasis and Dormancy. Diane first joined the University of Sheffield in 2003 after completing her bachelor’s degree in Medical Materials and Engineering. Her first research role was within the university’s Department of Genomic Medicine, before she went on to complete her MPhil in 2009, investigating the effects of Risedronate analogues combined with chemotherapy on breast cancer cells. In 2023, Diane began her PhD, marking the start of her research into hypoxia and its role in cancer biology. In this webinar, she shares insights from her work across a range of cancer biology projects, including in vitro research using breast cancer cell lines and in vivo work investigating prostate cancer bone metastasis.
