Candida auris Selective Enrichment Broth

CABroth (Candida auris Broth) is manufactured by Copan and supplied as 2ml of selective enrichment broth in a 12 × 80mm tube. The modified Sabouraud medium is specifically designed to selectively enrich Candida auris while inhibiting the growth of other Candida species and commensal bacteria.

Following 48 hours of incubation, samples enriched in CABroth can be sub-cultured onto appropriate agar media for further identification and testing or used for molecular detection. CABroth is also compatible with the Copan WASP® automated specimen processing module for both broth inoculation and subsequent sub-culture, supporting automated laboratory workflows.

Suitable for clinical specimens collected using Copan eSwab® or Copan FLOQSwab®.
