It is with great pleasure that we announce that Meintrup DWS Laborgeräte GmbH proudly looks back on a 25 year business journey! 🎉🥳
This significant anniversary is not only a celebration of time but also a reflection on our shared successes, highpoints, and milestones. For 25 years, we have worked together to make Meintrup DWS what it is today.
Hermann Joseph Meintrup set the first milestone back in 1981 when he founded his sole proprietorship. Back then, he single-handedly distributed high-quality microbiology devices from the USA and England in Germany. He was a welcome "guest" in the laboratories, servicing and repairing the devices over a cup of coffee.
The second milestone was the actual founding of the GmbH on 22 December 1998. Hermann J. Meintrup and the English company Don Whitley Scientific Ltd., with Paul Walton as company owner, founded Meintrup DWS Laborgeräte GmbH, based in Lähden, Germany.
Elke Hearn, who took over the management of the company together with Paul Walton, ensured a seamless transition of all business processes and a steady growth of the customer base as well as business partners. Meintrup DWS Laborgeräte GmbH sells, installs, and services equipment for microbiology, cell and cancer research, not only from England but also from France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain.
In 2016, we ventured to the next milestone and invested in the construction of our company building in Herzlake, which not only meets our needs but also creates space for creative ideas.
What began as a small team has grown into a strong community of 17 dedicated employees. Each of them has made a valuable contribution to our success.
We are proud to be not only a company, but also an apprenticeship provider. The promotion of talent and the further development of each individual are important to us.
We would like to thank our entire team, our loyal customers, and our business partners, without whom this anniversary would not have been possible.
