The eSwab® collection is the gold standard liquid-based, multi-purpose collection and transport system that maintains the viability of aerobic, anaerobic and fastidious bacteria for up to 48 hours at room and refrigerator temperature. Combines a flocked swab and liquid amies solution in a compact and automation-compatible design.
The Universal Transport Medium (UTM®) system is specifically intended to collect, transport and preserve clinical specimens containing viral material and extends sample viability at ambient and refrigerated temperatures.
The eNAT® is a sample collection and transport system ideal for use with highly infectious agents as it contains a detergent and guanidine thiocyanate. It can inactivate bacterial and viral cells, including influenza A, COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2), MRSA (methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus), Mycoplasma hominis, Neisseria gonorroeae and Chlamydiae trachomatis within 30 minutes whilst preserving the DNA/RNA molecular testing.
